INGREDIENTS
- 250gr of flour
- 3gr of salt
- 50gr of sugar (or brown sugar)
- 4g of dry yeast or 12g of fresh baker's yeast
- 150g lukewarm milk
- 50gr of butter
PREPARATION
- In a bowl put in the following order: salt, yeast, sugar and milk then knead.
- Add the small pieces of butter and knead until the dough comes away from the sides, gradually add the flour.
- Put the dough in a slightly oiled bowl, cover it and let it rest for 1 hour or more.
- Sprinkle the work surface with flour and roll out the dough into a rectangle the length of your mold and three times its width.
- Spread the spread over the entire surface of the dough.
- Roll the dough into a sausage shape then cut it in half lengthwise.
- Wrap the two pieces to form a braid, leaving the chocolate part on top.
- Place the brioche in a mold and leave it for 45 minutes at room temperature.
- Finally, bake for 25 minutes in the oven at 180° and enjoy!
