INGREDIENTS

  • 250gr of flour
  • 3gr of salt
  • 50gr of sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 4g of dry yeast or 12g of fresh baker's yeast
  • 150g lukewarm milk
  • 50gr of butter

PREPARATION

  1. In a bowl put in the following order: salt, yeast, sugar and milk then knead.
  2. Add the small pieces of butter and knead until the dough comes away from the sides, gradually add the flour.
  3. Put the dough in a slightly oiled bowl, cover it and let it rest for 1 hour or more.
  4. Sprinkle the work surface with flour and roll out the dough into a rectangle the length of your mold and three times its width.
  5. Spread the spread over the entire surface of the dough.
  6. Roll the dough into a sausage shape then cut it in half lengthwise.
  7. Wrap the two pieces to form a braid, leaving the chocolate part on top.
  8. Place the brioche in a mold and leave it for 45 minutes at room temperature.
  9. Finally, bake for 25 minutes in the oven at 180° and enjoy!
