INGREDIENTS
Dough- 120 grams of butter
- 120 grams of sugar (2/3 cup)
- 2 egg yolks (34 grams)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla extract
- A pinch of baking soda
- 2 heaping tablespoons of lemon juice (10 grams)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon zest
- 190 grams of flour (1.5 cups + 2.5 tablespoons)
- 15 grams of cornstarch (1 full tablespoon)
- A pinch of salt
- *If you want to enhance the lemon flavor, you can add a few drops of lemon essence, but the glaze on top is usually sufficient.
Glaze:
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar (preferably without cornstarch)
- 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of milk
