The Best Creamy Mushroom Pasta

INGREDIENTS

• Drizzle olive oil
• 30g butter
• 1 onion
• 200g mushrooms
• 2 Tbsp tomato paste
• 1 tsp oregano spice
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp pepper
• 200ml cream
• ¼ cup pasta water
• Mozzarella cheese to taste
• Basil for topping
• 220g linguine

METHOD

1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water.
2. Melt the butter in the olive oil.
3. Cook the chopped onion in the oil, then add the mushrooms.
4. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
5. Add the tomato paste, cream and spices and stir until it's homogeneous.
6. Add the pasta and pasta water. Stir until you obtain a thin sauce.
7. Add the mozzarella and stir off the heat (so that it does not clump).
8. It's ready, you can serve with basil if you want. Bon appétit !
